The Singapore SPOKES Bamboo Bike Collective has a rich history that began in the San Francisco Bay Area and has taken many years to evolve into its current form in Singapore. This journey from humble roots to a thriving collective showcases the dedication and passion that has driven its transformation over time.

Looking ahead, our vision is to inspire and enable individuals to create their own bamboo bikes, not just as a mode of transportation but as a statement of environmental consciousness. We believe in fostering a sense of community through hands-on learning, where each participant becomes a part of something bigger than themselves.

In our workshops, participants embark on a journey of discovery, guided through the intricacies of bamboo frame design, geometry components, and the various parts that come together to form a bicycle. We emphasize the use of jigs to align all parts, encourage recycling of steel components from other bikes, and promote collaborative efforts to achieve the shared goal of building a bamboo bike.
